Galactic Showdown

This was a lot of fun to work on. I did this for my Sweet Unca Lou's Fetch-A-Sketch blog [link] . Our assignment was to combine a Green Lantern character with a Hanna-Barbera character. So here we have John Stewart trying to stop The Great Gazoo from pressing that button and extinguishing all life. The background is charcoal and colored pencil on brown paper, while the foreground is sketches colored in Photoshop. I hadn't really done any "mixed media" like that up until then.
